Drum majors late for homecoming halftime show

The hits just keep on coming for the "Orange Elephants" as the prancing "presidential ten" drum majors were late for the start of the homecoming halftime show forcing band director Julian White to start the show without them (see video above).

The tardiness prompted one youtube poster to suggest, "they (the drum majors) were still in the field house dressing each other, primping, and doing make-up, hair and nails. Not only were they late for the homecoming show, they didn't even have a sense of urgency to get to the field after the show had started...Just walked out like it was good."

"Doc shouldn't have let their a**es on the field. He's a former DM; the band would have been just fine without the Precious 10," the poster continued.

Trouble before
This is the second time this year that the "prancing ten" drum majors had been the center of controversy. All ten were suspended for the Howard game for "violating band policy", forcing Band Director Julian White to go with a substitute drum major Chad Norton.

Note from this clip, Chad is not a member of the "prancing ten" drum majors.

I wonder if removing the "restraints" that hold the program back would've helped them arrive on time. *SMDH*

As if you even care how they become drum majors. Or what their purpose is. Most of us are familiar with the "mascot" drum major anyhow. This story is late in more than one way. And the show went on...

I sure hope all this hot air raises money for the program RN.

And just what would the 100rd need more money for?

Yeah, why does the band need more money they just got all new instruments in 2007 and fill-in uniforms this year.

I love the 100 but ya'll are actin' like a bunch dayum crybabies. You all signed up for the band now do your dayum jobs or get out.

Excellence With Caring is not just our motto, it's our way of life. Now if you are a real Rattler, get with the program or get lost.

I've never been a member of The 100but I have friends who have been and for the simple reason, my money has gone towards the band for years. It's not going to stop now because ya'll are experiencing some issues but shut da hewl up with the excuses and go back to making us proud.

It's as simple as that...

2:27, that's not true at all. LOL And there is plenty of room for the program to improve and modernize exponentially. The program is not what it was designed to be just yet. I know we can all come up with something the the band program needs. Especially if you were in the ranks. ***5:59, I'm with you. Problem is, they should have heard that before they ever got a uniform.

Will the real RN please stand up?! This is getting to be real tabloid. I'm logging on everyday with my mouth fixed for information about the search for AD. What's up with the committee and what are the details of the qualities required for the job. I mean the Democrat is not the source, so... C'mon RN. Only you know if Cassie B is really throwin' Her hat in for the AD job lol.

4:43,
That's right attack the messenger not the problem. RN has well documented the errors, but once again you want to turn a blind eye.

That's part of the prob.

10:17, you don't get it. Get in the ranks and cut your whining. It's time to move on or up in the conversation. You say you love A&M. Apparently not more than being right, whatever that's worth.
