FAMU standout Brandon Hepburn turned heads with his top five finish in the 40-yard dash during linebacker field drills for the 2013 NFL
Scouting Combine. The scouting event is underway at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis,
Indiana.
Hepburn completed the sprint in 4.59 seconds. He was among
35 collegiate team linebackers who received invitations to the Combine.
Jason Bernos, a sports writer for the Bleacher Report and
Canal Street Chronicles on SB Nation, said Hepburn was one of “three ILB's that really stood
out to me that would look great in New Orleans in the middle and on special
teams.”
Bernos added that: “Hepburn has slowly gotten better every
season at Florida A&M and in 2012, started to show off his ability to rush
the passer from the ILB position.”
