Soriano earns second consecutive Rookie of the Week nod

FAMU volleyball’s Pamela Soriano has earned her second consecutive Rookie of the Week honor from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Soriano (r-Fr., OH, 5-10, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) logged 16 kills and seven assists with a .500 hitting percentage against South Carolina State. She also registered 12 kills and eight digs in a 3-0 win against Savannah State, helping FAMU finish a perfect 2-0 week.
