The event was hosted by the College of Law’s Academic
Success and Bar Preparation team led by Assistant Professor Alicia Jackson. It
included a workshop that answered questions about the exam and offered tips about effective studying techniques.
The FAMU College of Law has improved by more than 20
percentage points on the July bar exam since 2009. Its 73.6 percent first-try
passage rate on the July 2014 Florida Bar Exam was higher than the statewide
average of 71.8 percent.
