Alexander, who earned a degree in political science and
public administration from FAMU, served as student body president during the
2005-2006 school year. He formerly worked as the community & external
affairs aide in the Tallahassee Mayor’s Office and a legislative intern in the
Florida House of Representatives District 8 office for two years.
He is married to Taniyah Dawson, an alumna of the FAMU
College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and former starting point guard
for the FAMU Women’s Basketball Team.
