FAMU officials meet with Kenyan leaders as part of global partnership

Governor H.E. Cornel Amoth Rasanga and a delegation from Siaya County in Kenya, visited FAMU March 31 – April 2 and were hosted by President Larry Robinson and representatives from the FAMU College of Agriculture and Food Sciences.

At the invitation of FAMU, the Kenyan delegation came to Tallahassee to follow up on previous discussions regarding a unique memorandum of understanding between FAMU and the University of Nairobi, which includes an exchange program for faculty and students in the FAMU College of Agriculture and Food Sciences, which is led by Dean Robert Taylor.

The partnership is in the process of being enhanced and will also include mutually beneficial research, technology, extension and educational training opportunities.
