The Florida A&M Softball Team unleashed a 10-hit attack Monday to power their way to a 13-2 romp over the Temple Owls in the final game of the USF Invitational in Tampa.
Florida A&M (4-5) got two hits apiece from Nakendra Jones and Ashley Smith. Jones and Danielle Brown each had a pair of RBI, with Rhianna Green, Lisa Dronkers, Ashley Smith and Willalee Smith each picking up an RBI. Rattler pitcher Destiny Gordon picked up her first win.

Meanwhile, the Florida A&M mens basketball team dropped a 89-71 decision to Howard University. The Rattlers are now12-15(8-7 MEAC). Not to be out done, the Lady Rattlers let a halftime lead slip away en route to a 64-62 loss to the Howard Lady Bison Monday night in Washington, DC.
