Athletics makes USA Today with more bad news.FAMU falters
Athletic Director Nelson Townsend told Leon County Alumni on Tuesday that the weight room and visitors locker rooms at the fieldhouse will be renovated by fall. Townsend also said that other improvements to the facility are currently underway. Townsend told Alumni that these are short term improvements until a long range renovation and construction plan can be put into place.
In other news, like other Universities around the country struggling to deal with rising energy cost, FAMU is projecting to overspend its energy budget by $3.6 million officials told the trustees today.
