  1. Your Rattlernation card, never leave home without it.

  2. Whoever thought that Rattlernation and the Capital Outlook would actually be on the same page. It seems like the damge Bryant has inflicted on FAMU has forced even some of her staunchest supporters to reconsider their positions. People's consciences are getting the best of them.

It's like the ice is melting after a long snowstorm and sunlight is slowly returning in Rattler Country. However, we must continue to fight hard to thaw out the freeze before it kills anymore of the life within our university.

Now that the alumni, faculty, and black press are firmly aligned in favor of reining in Bryant, what next?

We definitely need more student support. FAMU students need to get up and get loud about the mistreatment they are experiencing on campus. Bryant has hurt the student body by worsening the condition of financial aid (can anyone say Kenneth Tague?), hurting faculty morale, inflicting monetary losses (lack of recruitment, research, etc.), keeping FAMU's deanships in a state of instability.

Now is not the time for silent "in house" negotiating -- it's time for public challenges. Students, the ball is in your court.

  4. It's time for the students, faculty, and staff to shutdown classes, shutdown operations and demand some respect. Castell & Co. is trying to reduce FAMU down to a size she can manage. Right now the University is to big for her to handle. That's why they see a decline in student enrollment not such a bad thing, or a reduction in many of the programs offered. If action is not taking soon, student enrollment is gonna be down to 5,000 students and we are going to be scratching our heads wondering "how da hell did this happen!!"
