Florida A&M head men's basketball coach Mike Gillespie, Sr. will be profiled on the National Public Radio show "Morning Edition" on tomorrow, between 6-9 a.m. Eastern Time.
The story will chronicle the success of the Rattler basketball program under Coach Gillespie, who guided the team to its' most victories (18) since 1989-90 this season.
Also to be highlighted will be the academic success of the Rattler basketball players during Gillespie's six years at FAMU, as nearly 20 players have, or are on track to graduate.
Good for Coach G! Now, go out and recruit someone over 6-10 to help inside.
ReplyDelete8:52--why is is that you simply couldn't say "Congrats," and something else positive. Lord, I swear, folks are damned if they do, and damned if they don't. Well, since, you didn't say it--without adding another positive--I'll say it for you: Congratulations, Coach Gillespie. Keep on keeping on!
ReplyDeleteCoach G is the greatest!!! If only we could get more students to support him and the basketball team on a regular basis. He was so excited to see my roommates and I at the B-CC game this past Saturday. Coach G Jr. came over and thanked us and Coach G gave us all high fives! lol :) GO COACH G!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulation Coach G and the Basketball TEAM!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Rattlers!
I hope Corch G learns to recruit from the High School ranks so we'll have kids around more than 1 or 2 years. In the time he's been our Coach he's relied very heavily on JuCos and transfers.

ReplyDeleteYOU don't say siht for me. Burn that one in your frontal lobe. It's obvious to all that you have control issues. If you don't like what I or anyone else here post, that's YOUR issue. Get help! For some twisted reason, you must feel that you were put on this earth to mind business other than your own. Well, post your address, and I'll mail you a quarter so that you buy some of your own.
Telling people what they can or can not say, or how to say it, is nothing less that a Cast-hellish trait. Give it a rest.
