  1. Even in her resignation letter, Challis continues to defend Cast-hell.

  2. Once again RN ... I gotta give you guys props where it's due.

To have documents up and on the Site - some practically before the ink has even dried on the signatures - is really something I have always given you all props for.

    That being said ...

Although I applaud her for trying to take the high road in avoiding a potentially embarrassing situation in not being retained, Homegirl also is essentially trying to be cordial in echoing the sentiments of our Legal Eagle - the one you all have labled "Tone Loc" - in that she's essentially telling us that "we hope we get what we ask for" ... Although "TL" said it with just a little bit more "urban eloquence".

But - Right now ... We can't go anywhere BUT up!

  3. That &$#&^$^ is delusional. Who does she think she is to not just speak for herself? Why is she defending Castell? Defend yourself...this just goes to show that she was Castell's rubber stamp.

  4. Why does that letter read as if it were addressed to her critics and not the Board of Governors?

  5. To Anon 7:12,

I'm of the opinion that there has been so many leaks of documents and emails that Castell & Co. are writing them with the expectation that I will be posting them.

I even get that feeling when they hold Board Meetings and Board phone calls. They now seem very rehearsed.

  6. Da Rattler: When you graduate in August, will the site graduate with you? What ever will we do without you? Must we depend on the street community to provide us with information? The Tallahassee Democrat? The Capital Outlook is distributed once a week, but you are, of course, giving us the good on a daily basis (and multiple bits at that!). Who will do us the honors of keeping us informed? Are you going to leave us high and dry? Are there capable persons ready to feel your huge shoes? You can't leave us like this, Da Rattler, you just can't! To paraprase the Godfather of Soul, "Please, please, don't go...We love you so!"

  9. Corbin Created Chaos is Crumbling! Not only should Challis IS Lowe Go but Laura Branker, Willie George Allen and Leerie Jenkins should ALL resign as well.

  10. Challis IS not only Lowe, she's very much in denial. She, James Corbin, Cast-Hell Bryant, Laura Branker, Willie George Allen, Leerie Jenkins and all of Cast-Hell's imports are very much a major part of the problem. They all should GO!

  12. I just came back to read this, and I would go nuts trying to do the hardwork you do. Trust me i know.

As for writtting skills, i'm planning on working on them during the summer. I know my writting is horendous. Plus when i know when the time comes for me to apply to the FAMU COLLEGE OF LAW, i know the requirements will be alot harder to acheive. I had to change my phone number i swear CAst-hell tried to call me last week with Liz Mcbride on three way.

  13. Fabian, this is not smack at you or anything, just a suggestion.

What would help tremendously help you in your writing is to utilize a spellcheck feature when writing, and before you post.

Good luck, and y'all keep up the good work.

  14. Da Rattler---OMG! Say it ain't so! We know that you're kidding, but seriously, what are we going to do when you are gone in August? Is there someone worthy in place??? I'm serious!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Fabian, you mean to tell me that you're trying to get into someone's law school with THOSE writing skills? OMG.

  16. Fabian, I'm not trying to dampen a brothre's contribution to the dialogue, but I don't think that a few weeks of remedial writing during the summer is going to quell a lifetime of poor writing, and I recognize a lifetime of poor writing when I see it. Perhaps a year/two? might help, but a few weeks? It might work, but I don't see it. But you go 'head and try and step up your writing game. Who knows? Next thing you know you may win a Pulitzer Prize for Literature.

  18. Hey Yall Get OFF Fabian!!!!

We will find a way to keep you all informed if that is the will of the people.

  19. Well if Castell can run FAMU; then Fabian can get into Law School.

I have more confidence in Fabian, then I do in Castell.

  20. fabian, you can do it.

First you have to think about what you want to communicate. Take time to think. Write down the few key points you want to make. Then put them in a logical order and tie them together with nice transition words or phrases. And above all else.....read Challis Lowe's resignation letter. If she can get and keep a senior level executive job with those writing skills, you can be Chief Justice with yours.

  21. This is what I see when I read Lowe's resignation letter

I quit. blah, blah, blah, blah

You're going to miss me when I'm gone,

    Challis Lowe

  22. Hey Lowe don't you worry your pumpkin head about FAMU,as soon as we can get those crooks out the way and let the REAL president come and do what he does best then we will be alright, and one more thing you don't have to worry about FAMU's reptutation just worry about yours and how you are going to fair after this.

  23. Go on to law school, Fabian. One day I (or some of the posters here) might need you to defend them in a court of law. And then you'll have the right to say, "Go fly a kite!"
