Actress Gabrielle Union had a great year in 2012 thanks in
large part to FAMU alums Rob Hardy and Will Packer. Their company, Rainforest
Films, selected her to co-star in their comedy “Think Like a Man,”
which opened up at the number one spot in the box office during its first week.
Union visited The Hill on Saturday to address many of the
fans who helped her score her blockbuster hit this year. She asked them to
support the reelection campaign of U.S. President Barack Obama.
“If you believe in a woman's right to choose, if you believe
in the basic civil rights of 100 percent of American citizens; this election is
about you. If you're happy that Osama bin Laden is dead and the auto industry
is alive; this election is about you,” Union said. “We cannot afford to sit
this one out.”
