FAMU junior Nakia Linson was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
Linson
claimed the March 11-17 athlete of the week title for her second place
finish in the 100m (11.49) and 200m (24.32) at the Georgia Relays.
She also ran the second leg of the 4x100 relay team that took home the
silver with a time of 45.97.
Linson previously took
home the February 25-March 4 athlete of the week title after running a
leg of the 4x100m relay to help the Lady Rattlers win the event
(46.61) during the University of North Florida Spring Break Invitational. She also grabbed second-place finishes in the 100m dash (11.82)
and the 200m dash (24.32).
