The performance made him the #1 fastest 400 meter hurdle
athlete in this year’s Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) rankings and 13th,
overall, in the NCAA Division One National rankings.
Pugh also ran a 14.75 in the 110 hurdles and was a member of the FAMU 4x400 relay team which finished fifth (3:09.92) and on the 4x100 team which finished 16th (40.88).
“Pugh as well as the rest of the team has responded
fantastic to our training and coaches! We are very excited as we continue to
prepare for the outdoor MEAC conference championship and NCAA Regionals later
this year,” Head Coach Marc Small said.
