Too (So., Eldoret, Kenya) eclipsed his own MEAC-best time in
8K this past weekend, taking gold at the South Carolina State Invitational
after running a personal-best and course-record 23:47.50. He is the first MEAC
runner to break the 24-minute mark this season, clearing his previous best by
nearly 30 seconds and helping the Rattlers place first among 10 teams.
Kiplagat (So., Eldoret, Kenya) also won gold in the South
Carolina State Invitational, completing the 5K course in 18:22.90. Her time
also allowed the Rattlers to finish first among 16 teams in the field, and
Kiplagat had nearly 20 seconds on the next-closest finisher.
