Outpacing other student orientation programs from Alabama,
Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South
Carolina and Tennessee, FAMU student leaders won first place in five areas
including case studies about the new student orientation process, presentation
skills and exhibiting campus pride.
The event was presented by the National Orientation
Directors Association. FAMU’s New Student Orientation Program also hosted
thousands of potential students during the University’s annual Spring Preview
on March 24 at the Al Lawson Center.
