Gillum outraises DeSantis nearly 8-to-1 in first campaign finance period of general election

In the first general election campaign finance report, the Gillum for Governor campaign today announced that it had received 39,604 donations — and brought in thousands of new donors — in the first three days of the general election.

The campaign of Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum and the Forward Florida committee raised a total of $4,027,927.15. That’s nearly eight times as much Republican nominee Ron DeSantis’s campaign and the Friends of Ron DeSantis committee’s $527,879.53. Gillum’s 39,604 donations were 16 times as many as DeSantis’ 2,457.
