New Planet Fitness opening near FAMU

Work is underway to transform the former Winn-Dixie store on S. Adams Street, on Tallahassee's South Side, by FAMU into a brand new Planet Fitness gym. The new gym, located across from Adams Pointe and University Courtyard apartments, is currently pre-selling memberships.

This will be the third Planet Fitness location in Tallahassee, and represents the first large-scale health/fitness club for Tallahassee’s Southside community. The new facility which is walking distance to the FAMU campus will be a source of new job opportunities for FAMU students and a new option for both students and faculty to exercise.
