The Florida A&M University Industry Cluster has raised $340,000 this fiscal year.

The Cluster is made up of about 30-40 companies that pay $3,000 each in annual membership fees. Nine of the firms were present during the three-day presidential inaugural celebration last month: Allstate Insurance Company, Baxter Healthcare, Boeing Corporation, The Curvy Group, Domino’s Pizza, Fifth Third Bank, Five Star Consulting, LLC, Lockheed Martin Corporation, and Rockwell Automation.

FAMU President Larry Robinson spoke at the Industry Cluster luncheon that was held as part of the inaugural activities.  The Industry Cluster has set a goal of raising $500,000 by the end of the academic year.
