FAMU’s Board of Trustees said President Larry Robinson, Ph.D., met or exceeded their expectations on all 11 areas of his 2018-2019 evaluation. Overall, the Trustees felt Robinson performed as expected in six strategic areas. He exceeded their expectations in five areas. The rating period was from July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019.
The Trustees meet away from campus in Tampa, FL, and their proceeding were not broadcast or webcast.
Robinson was graded at level (meets) expectations in the following areas: achieving annual priorities and goals, educational leadership, organizational management, financial management, workplan, fund raising, and external relations.
Trustees said Robinson excelled (exceeds) at: external relations, board & governance relations, personal characteristics/values, and strategic leadership.
Based on Robinson's employment agreement, the favorable evaluation makes him eligible to receive a performance bonus of up to $77,000 which is 20 percent of his base salary of $385,000.
