The Rattler baseball team, last night, picked up their first win of the season by beating the Grambling State Tigers 7-4 in the inaugural Ralph Garr-Bill Lucas HBCU Baseball Classic in Atlanta, GA.
FAMU and Grambling went into the 7th ending all tied up, scored on a triple by LJ Bryant to put them up 5-4. Then, the Rattlers pulled away on a Grant Rowell base clearing two run homer to extend their lead to 7-4.
The Rattlers, now 1-12 on the season, return to action against the Tigers tonight at 7 pm in the three-game series.
