The FAMU Lady Rattlers picked up their third win of the season in an overtime victory against Alcorn State 60-58 last night in Lorman, MS, to improve to 3-20 on the season, 4-9 SWAC (one victory was a forfeit due to COVID).
Redshirt senior guard Anisja Harris lead the Lady Rattlers in scoring with 22 points. She was assisted by junior forward Staysha Allen who scored 11 points and 16 rebounds, her first career double-double.
This was the first time the Lady Rattlers scored more than 60 points in the last six games.
Men fall to Alcorn by 10
The Rattler men’s basketball team fell to Alcorn to 68-58, losing it second consecutive SWAC game. The Rattlers trailed the Braves 22-35 at half time.
