CVS Health has partnered with FAMU in an effort to development its executive leadership program in a meaningful collaboration to build a program that can be replicated, scaled and implemented by other Fortune 100 companies.
CVS’ engagement seeks to expand the depth and breadth of the executive learning series to yield impact beyond its immediate scope.
The effort is a part of CVS’ 2022 supplier diversity strategy, is being tailored to the unique curricula of each institution in hopes of developing creative and innovative solutions with a focus on supplier development and education, community and industry relationship building, student inclusion and an overall positive impact within the Black community.
These relationships continue to drive our goal of arming diverse suppliers and program participants with the skills needed to succeed in business and flourish in their industry. These partnerships will support initiatives that inspire and fuel innovation while working with local policymakers and advocacy leaders to support underserved communities.
“CVS Health recognizes the value of doing business with diverse and small business suppliers in our supply chain. Partnerships with HBCUs like FAMU will elevate community engagement, diverse supplier development and networking opportunities in support of underserved communities" said Monette Knapik, executive director of enterprise procurement, supplier diversity at CVS Health.
