FAMU alumni Michael White (‘13) and Joshua Hay (‘11), co-founders of the nationally recognized management consulting firm Indelible Solutions, returned to their alma mater on [insert date] to deliver a powerful message on entrepreneurship and leadership—alongside a $125,000 check. The contribution, presented during the SBI Forum Series at Lee Hall Auditorium, brings the firm’s total support to FAMU to $250,000 over the past four years.

Joined by Chief Strategy Officer Jose Alfaro, the trio engaged students in a candid discussion on navigating the modern business landscape. Their insights blended hard truths with actionable advice, emphasizing strategic thinking, relentless effort, and community investment.

“No Room for Balance—Yet”
White, a FAMU trustee, challenged students to prioritize growth over comfort in their early careers: “Don’t think about work-life balance right now. That’s impossible. You’re expected to put your head down and become a student of your client and your firm.” Alfaro echoed the call for continuous learning: “If you don’t stay ahead, you’ll get left behind. Be a student of yourself—hone your strengths relentlessly, whether in government or the private sector.”

From Campus to Corporate Impact
Hay, reflecting on Indelible Solutions’ rapid expansion across 23 states in six years, highlighted resilience and adaptability. “We mitigated infrastructure challenges through strategic alliances,” he said. “But sustainability demanded deliberate planning—we had to shift from reacting to opportunities to crafting a long-term vision.”

The $125,000 investment will bolster scholarships, professional development programs, and entrepreneurial initiatives at FAMU. For Hay, the event marked a “full-circle moment”: “Giving back through our experiences—as students and now business leaders—is what drives us.”

Indelible Solutions’ ongoing commitment underscores a broader mission: equipping HBCU students with the tools to thrive in competitive industries. As White put it, “Success isn’t just about seizing opportunities—it’s about creating them for others.”
