Renowned contemporary gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett, was on campus recently shooting a music video featuring the FAMU Concert Choir and the Marching 100. Tribbett teased the shoot for the unnamed video on his Instagram page by writing “planning something special with the Marching 100 and FAMU Concert Choir, can’t wait for you guys to see it.”
Tribbett, 44, is a Grammy and Stellar Award-winning singer, songwriter, and keyboardist. He has toured with Faith Hill, worked with Will Smith, Usher, Don Henley, Justin Timberlake, and Sting. He has released five albums. His album "Greater Than" was released in August 6, 2013, and earned him two Grammy awards. He is best known for his 2014 Grammy Award winning song "If He Did It Before.”
