Former FAMU QB Signs 3-year pact with KC

Former FAMU Quarteback (2002)Casey Printers, a transfer in from Texas Christan University, today signed a three year deal with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.

Printers, also an aspiring model, spent the last three years with the Canadian Football League's B.C. Lions and was the leauges most outstanding player in 2004.

The Lions had offered Printers, who was in the option year of his contract, a three-year, $1.2-million deal to stay.

Details of Printers deal with the Chiefs were not announced. As a rookie he would earn at least $235,000.

With this kind of self promotion, I guess, it goes without saying that Mr. Printers studied Public Relations while at FAMU.

Printers started the 2002 season for the Rattlers before sustaining a high ankle injury in the third game. He missed the next three games and the Florida Classic after injuring his hand and wrist against Troy State. The injury plagued Rattlers were a virtual red cross unit that 2002 season and finished the year with a 7-5 record.
