The Florida A&M Rattler baseball team won a slugfest at Moore-Kittles Field on campus last night, defeating the visiting Alabama A&M Bulldogs 18-13.
The Rattlers' 18 runs were a season-high, topping their 14 runs scored against the Bulldogs on March 7 in Alabama.
The Rattlers, who have struggled this year, impoved to 4-13 on the season. In total, FAMU had scored 27 runs against Alabama A&M in their two previous meetings this season, defeating the Bulldogs 14-2 and 13-7, respectively. Alabama A&M falls to 4-14 on the season.
