The Rattler basketball team's season ended tonight in the first round of the MEAC basketball tournament with a 60-52 loss to South Carolina State University. The Rattlers playing without star senior guard Tony Tate was no match for the Bulldogs, shooting just 33 precent from the field in the first half. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, shot 61 percent from the field.
If there's a brite spot, it's that coach Gilliespe and staff will get ahead start on recruiting.
