  1. Nice start ... But I just hope we can move Southern to later in the year though.

Being right behind TSU is gonna make it a tough choice for some of our roadtrippers - especially if the TSU game does in fact remain in the ATL. Moving that game to the end of October (or early November) would be a lot easier on folks' pockets.

Either way ... Just having something like this out is but another good indication that our AD is indeed putting some wheels in motion to move us in the direction of being considered as among one of the Programs in ALL of I-AA that indeed plans to be taken seriously in the very near future as a TRUE Player in this Game ...

But the Question soon is gonna be ...

"Just How Serious Are YOU - About Moving YOUR Program Forward?"

  2. I agree...The traditional Southern date was always around late October early November...

  3. Here's my take:

The AD was good at having this put on the website, but it's nowhere close to being final. Some of the games are traditionally in the same place, but they CAN and WILL be changed, for one reason or another.

Look for this thing to change about 50 times before it's REALLY final.

Good start, but I'm not making any reservations for anything but the FL Classic now, as it seems to be the ONLY game that is at the same time every year since we moved it to Orlando.

  4. I recall the AD saying something about having a SWAC opponent in Bragg every year. Whatever happened to that idea. It would be great to get a home-home with Bama State or Jackson State.

  5. In order to do that consistently, with the inclusion of WSSU it might involve doing away with TSU to make that happen ...

Unless ... They decide to split the Conference into two divisions, and we only have to play no more than four of the five in the opposite division.

And the only thing that will do ... Is eventually lead to the re-emegence of talk about bringing back the Heritage Bowl.
