The Florida A&M Rattlers (1-2, 1-1 in MEAC) got picked up their first win of the season yesterday by downing the Bison of Howard University 31-23 in Washinton, D.C. The win keeps the Rattlers in the MEAC title chase, while Howard (0-2, 0-2), dropped their sixth straight game since last season and may have had their 2006 championship dreams dashed with the loss.
WHAT'S NEXT: Florida A&M will host the Winston Salem State Rams next Saturday in the 2006 home opener at Bragg Stadium. Kickoff will be at 6:00 p.m.

Great win for FAMU, hopefully Coach C will open up the FAMU offense and quit the extremely conservative play calling.
