So far this year, the Rattlers have given up an average of 277 rushing yards a game in their first two games while rushing for only 124 yards a game.
While Howard has given up 287 rushing yards in its season opener against Hampton, FAMU will try to establish its ground game this weekend.
“We're going to try and establish the run early, try to put some points on the board quickly,” starting center Stephen Brazzle said. “. . . We need to set the tone early. We want to let them know early we aren't there to play games. We're prepared to change some things around and basically run the ball down their throats.”
FAMU's offensive line has been solid in its first two games and is ready to be dominant against Howard's defensive line.
Go Rattlers!
