Maria Andonova had 34 kills, 13 digs and five aces to lead the Rattlers to a 3-1 (30-26, 30-28, 27-30, 30-28) over South Florida on Saturday. Maritta Crockett added 27 kills and seven digs, Zaira Manzo posted 56 assists and Rosa Rojas had 14 digs for FAMU (21-6). The Rattlers will find out their next opponent when the NCAA announces its 64-team championship tournament field today.

Men's basketball improve to 2-5
Darius Glover and Rome Sanders scored 19 points each to lead Florida A&M to a 74-65 victory over Savannah State on Saturday in the Chicago Invitational Challenge.

FAMU coach Mike Gillespie said he was happy to get Glover and Sanders untracked.

With the win FAMU improved to 2-5.
