Nefertiti Williams, a 20-year-old FAMUAN editior was murdered in what officials are calling a murder-suicide. It is believed Ms. Williams was murdered by her 20-year-old roommate Shuandavia Brooks. Mr. Brooks, who was not a student, and Ms. Williams were long time friends from their hometown --- Bradenton, FL.

Ms. Williams' murder comes on the heels of the murder of alumnus Shannon McCants. Mrs. McCants, 37, was shot, and killed, while working in the pharmacy at Shands Hospital Jacksonville.
