The Florida A&M volleyball team is headed back to Gainesville for another NCAA Regional this week. The Lady Rattlers (21-6) will take on Florida (28-2) Thursday in the first round. The winner will play either College of Charleston or Arizona State on Friday. This will mark the third straight year that FAMU and UF have contested in the same subregional in NCAA play and their second straight appearance in Gainesville. In 2004, the Gators eliminated FAMU, 3-0, in subregion play in Tallahassee. Last year, FAMU lost to Kansas State in the first round at Gainesville.
Women's Basketball continues downhill slide
East Carolina University defeated the Lady Rattlers 78-41. The loss dropped the Rattlers to 1-4. ECU (2-4) led 32-11 at halftime.
FAMU hosts its first MEAC game Saturday against Bethune-Cookman at 3 p.m.
