The Florida A&M Baseball hit seven doubles and stole six bases to win their third game in a row in an 11-5 romp of Southwestern Athletic Conference member Alabama State, Wednesday afternoon at Paterson Field in Montgomery, Ala.
Darryl Evans stole a season high three bases in Rattler win, Wednesday
FAMU (8-31) belted out 16 hits paced by Timothy Schalch, who finished four-of-five from the plate driving in three runs, while scoring one.
Both Darryl Evans and David James went three-for-four from the plate. James led the team in doubles with a season high three, while Darryl Evans led the team in stolen bases with three.
ASU( 10-19) was led by Selmon Pearson with two hits, which included a solo homer in the bottom of the first inning.
The Rattlers travel to the Princess Anne, Md. for a three game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference series with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore over the weekend.
