The FAMU baseball team's late season rally ran into a brick wall at the MEAC Tournament as the number 2 seed Rattlers dropped a 14-2 decision to Norfolk State (Thrusday) and suffered and 8-6 loss to Maryland Eastern Shores (Friday). The two losses abruptly ended the Rattlers season.
The Rattlers started the season winning only one of their first 28 games. A late season rally improved the teams record to 16-34 headed into the MEAC Tournament.
The two tournament losses dropped the Rattlers to a 16-36 overall record.

ReplyDeleteblame it on the bus ride!
ReplyDeleteThe bus ride has nothing to do with the play of this team. Fire Coach Durant and replace him with Coach Bob Lucas. Lucas brings experience, discipline, MLB contacts, knowledge of the game, great recruiter, motivation, and winning history.
ReplyDelete6:56PM, I got slammed for saying that exact same thing. BCU is miles ahead of us in this arena.
