Here's another reason to watch CBS' Survivor: China this season --- FAMU grad Sherea Lloyd. Ms. Lloyd, age 26, currently calls Atlanta home, where she is an elementary school teacher. Lloyd describes herself as sassy, outspoken and caring. She enjoys dancing, working with children and watching football and basketball. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

ReplyDeleteWhat I've noticed since CVB Drama Entourage has skidaddled, is that there are very few posters online now. What this tells me is that we prefer all of the madness, mayhem and chaos from yesteryear. Even if there are no mad acts of drama now, with this new RN, I think we should still offer accolades to the folks whose good deeds make us all proud to be Rattlers. Let us continue to post online. It is great and wonderful that we are no longer calling each other out and hating each other--which is surely what the majority of the posts did--and support this new RN. I know that it's easier to vent our frustrations when, of course, we feel disrespected and wronged, but we also have to vent about the good things and the great things that our fellow FAMUans are doing, also. No one's happier than I that CVB is long gone, and a new CEO is at the helm, but let us all continue to offer commentary on what is being posted. We are indeed a colorful people--pun intended--and take due diligence to let our frustrations be know, but we have to let our good side show as well. Thank you very much.

ReplyDeleteGo FAMU! It's not that people WANT bad news, it's just that bad news attracts people. It's like watching a train wreck. You can't help but be drawn to it.
ReplyDeleteYou also had a lot of folks posting in an effort to get CVB out of office. FAMU under Castell was a clusterfuck of drama, lies, and plain old fuckuppery. People can't help but watch it and get vigilant enough to stop it.
Now that it's all good, we can relax, read the good stories, smile about it, file these stories away for the next recruitment fair, and get back to running our lives.
She's pretty tight. If she gets voted out of China, she can come home and get my egg roll with a side rangoon delivered anytime.

When I took over this blog there were about 240 hits per day, today we are avg about 1,100 hits a day.

I'm the 11:01 poster. One little, itty, bitty thing I forgot to add: Let's also try and keep the profane language down (and, preferably, out!). This new RN is an opportunity to begin anew. If there are ugly words which you wish to use, go to your trusty old thesaurus and seek out a substitute; there are plenty words there that can be utilized in lieu of the profane ones we seem, sometime, so hellbent on using, you know... the stinky ones we use to blast CVB & Company with. (Let us not the likes of CVB make us THAT angry again, that we forget our public manners. You know, the manners that mama-nem and Big Mama taught us...those old-school manners, which never, ever go out of style.Let us not resort to the kind of shameless, deragory behavior that CVB exhibited during her interview with the St. Pete Times. Thank you very much.
