FAMU fell to the Morgan State yesterday 14-12 continuing another historic season. Last week Norfolk State beat us for the first time ever. While Morgan's victory represented their first victory over the Rattlers for the first time in 11 years.
FAMU (2-6, 1-4 MEAC) dropped their fourth straight game this season, assuring themselves a sub .500 campaign for the first time since 2004 (3-8), with three games left.
it's homecoming so we won't belabor this loss, but its clear that we need help..
...and 2004 was the infamous Division 1 season, so throw that one out of the window. For all of you who wanted to get rid of Hall of Fame Coach Billy Joe, be careful what you ask for. We've gone from dominating the MEAC to cellar dwellars. The TRUTH hurts sometimes, but it's always the TRUTH!
ReplyDeleteNC A&T has the nation's longest losing streak, so the Rattlers win win Homecoming.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Rubin Carter's Rattlers are well on the way to establishing the nation's longest winning streak!
ReplyDeleteHeaven help us!
I don't see any hope that we will win another game this season.

I was at the game and sqarely this victory is on Coach Carter. #1 The Kicker missed 1-2 field goals before the last drive, here is the thing the kicker missed an extra point. Usually I would say Carter was playing it safe by going for the field goal on 4th & Goal with inchs to go but the fact that he went for another field goal and your kicker is shaky on extra points what gives. Bad call you should have went for it. Then all that switching quarterbacks back and forth was crazy. He brought in the freshman who I was impressed with to lead a drive then the next possesion he took him out and we got sacked... I dont' get it. Well next year should be his last chance as coach he does have two good freshmen though the QB & the RB. No reason for me to goto the Hampton game to support...Just SAD...
