Station ranks #2 in Tallahassee market
WANM-FM, the campus radio station, has joined the web generation, by launching a new website on the worldwide web. The tiny 1600 watt station, which ranks among the nation's best college radio stations, has become a dominate force in the growing Tallahassee/Thomasville radio market. The non-commercial station recently out polled more powerful commercial stations in listener surveys ranking as the 2nd most listened to radio station in Tallahassee.

The student run station caters to a variety of listeners with its eclectic format which includes News, Sports, Gospel, R&B and "Old School," Neo-soul, Hip-Hopp, Reggae, and Jazz.

WANM, formally WAMF, is housed in the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication and serves as a training ground for future journalist.
