  1. FAMU's Department of Social Work is a first-rate program. It definitely needs to become a college and add the Ph.D. degree.

  2. With all the problems in the Black community, a Ph.D. in Social Work would be nice!

  3. The black community has its share of issues just like the white community. The social work Ph.D.s produced by FAMU would be able to help out anywhere.

  4. Amen! FAMU's social work program is the best. Dr. Jarmon really took the program to another level!

  5. What can we as alumni do to help take FAMU's Social Work program from department to college status? Do they have an account in the FAMU foundation that we can send money to?

Maybe some alumni dollars can help give them an extra boost for the start-up costs necessary to become a college.
