For the first time in a long time, the FAMU Campus All-Star Challenge team failed to make the finals. Oakwood University, a tiny HBCU in Huntsville, AL, won their first championship Sunday, by beating Alcorn State University. It was the first time that either team had made it to the final game.

ReplyDeleteWe have been represented very well over the past several years. We'll let Oakwood enjoy the glory (this time)! We're all HBCUs and are in the fight together. So props to the winners!Next year, though, it belongs to us.
