The Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at FAMU was named the College Chapter of the Year at the fraternity’s 88th Convention in Kansas City, MO recently.
The chapter which was chartered in,932, competed on behalf of their region against four other country-wide regions after they were named college chapter champions of the Southern Regional Conference earlier this year. As part of the national competition, chapters of the fraternity document their exceptional community service, campus involvement, and leadership.
Cudos for the college brothers of Beta Nu. I was a delegate from my Alumni Chapter at the last Southern Regional Convention where this chapter and these brothers won. They were quite impressive to say the least. Keep up the good work brothers. You have done Beta Nu proud and, brought pride to all Alphas in Florida.
