A Florida A&M student used his creative talents to win big in a statewide contest.

This is the second year in a row a FAMU student has designed the winning program cover for the Florida Classic.

Roderic Edwards says it only took him an hour or so to complete the original design, but then he spent a few days tweaking it and making improvements.

He also hopes winning this contest will give him a foot in the door in the competitive world of graphic design.

"It feels great. To be honest, I'm a graduating senior so I hope it leads to employment opportunities after graduation, " says Roderic Edwards, the contest winner.

In addition to winning the contest, Edwards also scored himself a pair of tickets to watch the Rattlers play in the Florida Classic on November 22nd.

  1. We own this competition. BCC might as well hang it up!

  2. Old news. Didn't you report this when it initially happened? I think, like, last year? I guess this re-reporting is for those who didn't already know. Ok. My bad. Go head.
