Yesterday University of Miami officials announced that due to popular demand, FAMU’s Marching 100 will hold a special encore performance after the FAMU-Miami football game on October 10th.
When the two teams faced off in 2006, many fans cleared the stands after the 100 wrapped up its halftime performance.
The encore performance, which the Associated Press describes as “an usual arrangement,” is almost sure to keep fans in their seats and boost concessions sales.

FAMU will beat UM, PERIOD!!!
FAMU won't come close to beating Miami, but that check Miami is cutting will go a long way to help FAMU athletics. I hope Hayes puts that money to good use...if he is still the AD.

ReplyDeleteThe University of Miami has always welcomed a post-game performance by the 100. UM fans love the 100! The times I've gone to that game (as a Miami native & a FAMU student/alumni) - a UM fan felt the need to rave about the band. Most times after the game the UM players remove their pads and sprint back to the field to watch the 100.
ReplyDeleteI'm just happy if FAMU puts some points on the board. Either way that check goes A LONG way for FAMU athletics.
