The FAMU Men's Track Team came in 9th place at the 2011 MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend in Greensboro, NC. The Rattlers scored 33 points in 19 scored events. Last year the men finished 7th overall.The FAMU Women's team finished 5th overall with 71 points in 19 scored events. Last year the Lady Rattlers finished 10th overall.
Long Jumper Leon Hunt was the only Rattler to make the first team of the All Conference track team. No Rattlers were named to the All-Conference 2nd or 3rd teams.
