It's official.  Kevin Elliott has made the Jacksonville Jaguars' roster.

With an impressive preseason that included touchdown catches, displays of exceptional athleticism, and hard-nosed hitting, Elliott accomplished his goal of earning one of the 53 playing spots.

Elliott, by most accounts, sealed his place on the roster with a spectacular 77-yard touchdown run against the Atlanta Falcons.  He grabbed a short pass and weaved his way to score a touchdown that gave the Jaguars the lead in their 24-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons.  The third quarter touchdown put the Jaguars ahead 14-7 at the time.

Jacksonville Head Coach Mike Mularkey was very pleased with Elliott's effort on the play.

"It was set up for him," Mularkey said. "It was called for him to see if he could make that play. It was nice to see that one come about like that. "

Elliott also wowed the Jags coaching staff by catching a game-winning touchdown pass that led the team to a 27-24 victory against the New Orleans Saints last month (pictured).
