“Our audit disclosed that the University’s basic financial
statements were presented fairly, in all material respects, in accordance with
prescribed financial reporting standards,” Florida Auditor General David W.
Martin wrote in the report. “The results of our tests disclosed no instances of
noncompliance or other matters that are required to be reported under
Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United
States.”
This was the sixth annual audit of the Ammons’ financial
statements. There were no findings on the previous five, either.
Ammons stepped down as president on July 16, 2012. Former
Provost Larry Robinson has been leading the university since that date.
