Kante repeats as MEAC Player of the Year

FAMU’s Salif Kante is, once again, the number one racket man in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Head tennis coaches and sports information directors have crowned him the Men’s Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

The Senegal native posted an unblemished 4-0 mark in conference play and an 18-2 overall record at the number one singles position. The senior finished with a 15-1 mark in doubles play to help the Rattlers win co-champion honors and the number one seed in the southern division.
