Moore replaces Jennings on FAMU BOT

Today, the Florida Board of Governors announced the name of FAMU Trustee Bill Jennings’ replacement. It tapped Kimberly Moore, Tallahassee Community College’s (TCC) vice-president for workforce development, to serve on the FAMU board.

If confirmed by the Florida Senate, Moore will serve until January 6, 2018.

Moore came to TCC in 2013 from WORKFORCE plus. She joined the company in 2001 and served as its CEO from 2005 until 2012. 

Prior to her stint at WORKFORCE plus, Moore worked at TCC as a senior workforce development specialist.

Moore earned an associate of arts degree from TCC in 1993, a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Florida State University in 1995, and a master of business administration degree from Webster University in 2006.
