The Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference (MEAC) named FAMU guard Jasmine Grice its Player of the Week.
The 5’10 graduate student from Quincy, Fla. totaled 78
points, 16 rebounds, 14 steals, nine assists and shot 37 percent (25-of-68)
from the field in games against Troy, Southern and Tennessee State. She scored
a season-high 33 points against Troy, which marked the fifth time in her career
that she scored 30-plus in a game.
Earlier this fall, the MEAC also named Grice its co-preseason
Women’s Basketball Player of the Year.
